Conversations
I had some great meetings with librarians of all levels this week. What was interesting was the varying degrees of conversations on eBooks and databases. Some said they could see them related in a sense… I can see that, it is all content and many databases are rain from book content, but updated more frequently.
The other interesting topics was eBooks…. Ok not surprising but comments...

Amazon & eBook Sales
With all of the hoopla surrounding Amazon releasing it’s numbers, let’s really look at it. They didn’t really release anything, they gave a percentage. They won’t every tell you the details, better to beat around the bush then to play it straight. The challenge in all of this is understanding where they are getting the numbers, if anyone figures that out, let me know.
